I'd like to thank the Academy...
It's been over a month since my last post (i'm a very busy and/or lazy man, depending on the day) , but something happened that just couldn't pass unmentioned.
The Daily Marmoset has been passed over for so many awards in the past, I had frankly given up hope of the Establishment ever recognizing our own unique genius. So you can imagine my shock when I went through the mail yesterday and the cover of my Time Magazine informed me that I AM PERSON OF THE YEAR!

At long last, Time has recognized that I - with some minor assistance from the Marmoset, I suppose - control this Information Age. I knew that Time was getting smarter, since they recently included Watchmen on their All-Time 100 greatest novels list, but I had no idea they were hip enough to see someone as far ahead of the curve as me. Apparently, they're the only only ones that hip, sadly. But doesn't that just make them that much cooler?
(Editor's Note: For those who are appalled at seeing a comic book make the "100 greatest novels" list, Watchmen is a far better book than many others on their list. Trust me on this. And yes, it's a COMIC BOOK, not a graphic novel. When it's published by DC and revolves around people in capes trying to save the world, it's a comic book.)
Anyway, thanks again to Time for dropping their standards to Earth-shaking new lows.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, I present you with what just may be the greatest Christmas video of all time:
Hmm, so that's what happened to Dee Snyder. Eew.
